model type 1A, circa 1865, with re-blued 2 7/8in. barrel cluster, silver-plated brass frame marked 'C.SHARPS & CO PHILADA. PA' on the right hand side in a circle and 'C.SHARPS PATENT 1859' on the left, gutta-percha chequered grips, the frame with strong traces of original finish (trigger spring at fault)
